And i also downloaded some one elses FSX.cfg and put it in instead.
Also i forgot to mention i was tweaking the FSX.cfg ALOT that week. This must have been due to the bad A2A i downloaded. Now i did play it for 10 minutes and i noticed the sound was messed up. Please update the post if you find the solution as it may help others with the same issue. Every system has its own foibles and the solution to your problem may not be EXACTLY the same as mine, but its worth trying. I hope something in the above narrative helps. I did the same process with AV and internet off for that as well, turning on the net just before installation was finished and got the auth code. Once youve done the first part of the installation you MUST fly FSX even just for a few minutes before shutting down completely, re booting and then going on to Accelleration. I hate the thought of leaving AV off when i have any live connection to the net but some programs just dont play well with AV on. I found the solution was to leave AV off and my net connection off while installing (make sure UAC is also off or set so you have full privileges) then just before the program has got to the end of the installation process with disc 2, i opened up the net connection and it asked for the auth code. I found that if my Anti Virus was on and my internet/network connection was off, i didnt get asked for the auth code. I found it when i built my current pc only a few months ago.

The issue with fsx not asking for your activation code is odd but having installed fsx on no less than 5 pcs over the last 6 years, i can say i have come across this problem myself and yes, i do have a geniune copy of Accelleration. I thought i had some problems when i first downloaded Accufeel as well but answers are on their website : You didnt say what the actual problem with Accufeel was but if it was the missing drop down, there is a bit of code you need to type in.see if that helps. I try to create a new account and it says servers are down.
I cant play my favorite game without addons. Please help and make it easy and understanding. It loads ask for disc 1 to be placed then loads then asks for disc 2 then says "Microsoft Flight Simulator X Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact support personnel" or sometimes it wont even make it past disc 1. And the third and main problem which is preventing me from using PMDG, REX, ORBX, etc is that i can not download SP1.

Second problem is when i install FSX it does not ask for my activation code at all. First problem is if i installed the game and i put in disc 1 and want to reinstall or uninstall it will say error. So i uninstalled it and now i have had soo many problems. I had to uninstall my FSX due to downloading something for it and it basically broke the game.
